By the grace of God, Jillian Murphy Deaton is a wife and mommy to a 7-month-old baby girl. As a military spouse, she moves frequently and is currently located in Austin, TX. Jillian has followed the Lord’s calling on her life to make a tangible and spiritual impact as an author, speaker, Bible teacher, content creator, graduate school professor, and family nurse practitioner.

Jillian believes serving God daily starts in her home and then flows into her local church body. She serves on women’s ministry leadership, as a Sunday School teacher, and with the youth ministry at her local church. Jillian wrote Powerfully Weak endorsed by Pastor Tony Evans, This is WHY, The Four Seasons of Hope, and co-authored A Bigger Purpose. Jillian is blessed to serve as a LifeWay Girls blogger and content creator as well!

Jillian’s passion is to share God’s Word with anyone and everyone. Jillian loves teaching directly from God’s Word because no matter who we are or where we’ve been it is so relevant. Her goal is to walk alongside us in living out an authentic faith that causes others to trust in Christ.

Now, please don’t let this biography fool you. When you meet Jillian in person, she usually introduces herself as “Just Jillian.” Not to minimize who God has made her to be or what He does through her, but she has realized and continues to recognize how blessed she is to be used as His instrument.
